2010: Bi-Coastal Film Festival Event We're pleased to announce that The Silence of Bees was accepted to The New York International Film and Video Festival. It will be screened at a theatre in Los Angeles in the spring of 2010. LA screenings will take place February 26th through March 4th. Venue to be announced. The Silence of Bees will be screened on Sunday, February 28th at 4pm. "The New York International Film Festival was founded in 1993 by entertainment impresario Stuart Alson and is now recognized as one of the largest competitive independent film events in the world. Passionate about exposing the films and documentaries of emerging filmmakers from all over the globe, NYIFF is a unique platform for emerging and established filmmakers."

November 12 to November 15, 2009 We're pleased to announce that The Silence of Bees is among the official selections in The Big Easy Film Festivals, New Orleans, Louisiana. Part of Drama Program #1 Saturday, November 14, beginning at 6:00 PM Canal Place Theatres, 333 Canal Street (third floor in the mall). Screening times and venue are subject to change; please see the festival website for the latest updates. "The Big Easy Film Festivals are the sister fests to the Beverly Hills Shorts Festival. We're giving the city some of the best films in the world... and we're devoting our resources to help New Orleans and rest of the Gulf Coast protect itself against future acts of nature while supporting indie film in the region."

September 19 to September 26, 2009 The Silence of Bees was among the official selections in the Naperville Independent Film Festival, Naperville, Illinois. The second annual festival included workshops, a feature appearance by film critic Roger Ebert and 84 films from around the world.

The Silence of Bees was accepted as part of the Urban Suburban Film Festival, which took take place from June 17 to June 20, 2009, in Philadelphia, PA.

Cannes, France

The Silence of Bees was accepted as part of the Short Film Corner, in Cannes, France, which took place from May 13th to May 22nd 2009. Organized by the Festival de Cannes, the Short Film Corner makes films available for viewing, acquisition and distribution.
